![]() So, if you're interested in using / able to use EZbass' in-app features for tweaking lines, want it to sound good, and don't care so much about the nuances of bass playing, I highly recommend EZbass (and you can get it discounted from me ). This seems to be a VSL thing and not a Toontrack thing, but since I can't really stop using VEP, I've looked for other basses. For example, the note C2 can be played on all four strings of the bass, and sounds different on each of them. It's not as deeply sampled as other bass libraries, primarily in that it only samples each note on one string. ![]() Since my main use-case is using Dorico, I found this to be a fit frustrating things like slides and legato were not as easy to get the way I wanted via MIDI (though they are super flexible in the app itself). It's optimized for programming in the app (or using its included lines), not via MIDI from your DAW. ![]()
